VCA Valley Animal Medical Center Emergency Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to complement the talented team at our AAHA-accredited, 24-hour emergency practice in Indio, California.VCA Valley Animal Medical Center & Emergency Hospital is excited to offer a new structure for our emergency department.

Our facility includes a CT Scanner, continuous EKG monitoring, Doppler BP, ultrasound, in-house laboratory equipment including CBC, chemistry, coagulation testing, endoscopy (gastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, rhinoscopy, and cystoscopy), laparoscopy, tonometry, digital radiography; electrocautery, a full complement of soft tissue and orthopedic surgical equipment and much more! As the only small animal emergency clinic within 100 miles, we have a unique caseload and opportunity to serve our community.

Who are we looking for? In order to meet our growing community’s needs, we are looking for primary receiving emergency doctors as well as hospitalists, with all shifts available. Choose your path! This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow, be supported, and work within a large emergency hospital. The schedule is a combination of day or night and swing shifts, with rotating holiday and weekend schedules.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $66,560 to $225,000. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
