K-Beauty Treatments Are Trending In 2025, According To Experts (2025)

Over the past few years, women have turned to non-invasive beauty treatments to get a fresh, healthy look for their skin. From injectables to laser treatments, these aesthetic tweakments are making waves in 2025 across the country.

According to a recent report from Grand View Research, the U.S. market for non-invasive aesthetic treatments is valued at $23 billion, and it’s expected to grow at a rate of 15.2 percent over the next six years.

In the coming years, more people are going to be spending money on non-invasive treatments. there is a focus on K-Beauty facial treatments, which have been popularized in South Korea, the land of smooth and healthy skin. As more nonsurgical cosmetic treatments hit the market, it can be a challenge to sort out which one is right for you.

This year, the trend leans towards combination treatments, as more women want to have a “wow” look without the downtime that surgery requires. Here are the non-invasive K-Beauty treatments for the face that are trending right now. With the help of these three board-certified plastic surgeons and dermatologists, there are the most popular innovative options for your face, from skin tightening to smoothing treatments and more.

Sylfirm X with Rejuran

Dr. Han Hoang, a board-certified plastic surgeon, is the founder of Aureum Aesthetics in Huntington Beach, CA. She recommends Sylfirm X radiofrequency microneedling in combination with Rejuran Salmon DNA. “SylfirmX and Rejuran are the perfect K-beauty dual; they can control stubborn, hard-to-treat skin conditions, such as melasma and rosacea,” she said. “Sylfirm X pulse wave technology targets the abnormal blood vessels in the skin, and Rejuran has a reparative and anti-inflammatory effect on damaged skin cells and melanocytes.”

This combined procedure helps improve skin tone and texture, while getting rid of acne scars and hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation can be from acne, sun, or trauma, notes Dr. Huong. The small microneedles send thermal energy to the dermis (the inner layer of the skin), stimulating collagen and elastin production, which helps improve the plumpness of your skin. “The combination also has a regenerative effect on the skin at a structural level,” she said. “I've performed skin biopsies on volunteers and two weeks after a single treatment, the treated skin has significantly more elastin, a protein that provides elasticity in most tissues in the body, compared to before.”

The Rejuran SkinBooster facial is being called the next big trend in K-Beauty, as this salmon sperm facial trend comes from South Korea. Rejuran contains polynucleotide, a DNA extracted from salmon, a refined ingredient derived from salmon sperm. Right now, it is the number one skin booster in South Korea, hydrating the skin while stimulating our body’s natural collagen production to help plump and boost our skin.

“Clients love it for the zero social downtime and the natural, gradual enhancement,” said Dr. Hoang. “I prefer radiofrequency technology over ultrasound, as it doesn’t cause scarring underneath the skin, which can make surgery more difficult in the future.”

Carboxy Gel Face Masks

The second most popular treatment that Dr. Hoang has seen is the Carboxy Gel Face Mask, better known as CO2Lift mask, which infuse the skin with carbon dioxide to increase blood flow and oxygenation. Overall, it's a powerful way to rehabilitate the skin.

These masks are often used as a post-procedure for procedures, like injections, lasers, aggressive face peels or cosmetic surgery. They help reduce fine lines, wrinkles, while lifting and tightening skin and smoothen out texture.

It has been called a miracle mask because it shrinks large pores, moisturizes the skin, and improves dark circles. The face mask’s results last for seven days, and it is recommended to do before a long flight, or when you're preparing to attend a milestone event. Dr. Hoang recommends using this face mask after a Rejuran salmon DNA treatment. “These masks are all the buzz right now.”

Thermage

Thermage skin tightening uses heat to activate the deepest layers of your skin, causing collagen to tighten. There is no downtime for recovery and it has a natural, gradual enhancement. Thermage was the first in non-invasive skin tightening treatment 20 years ago. “It has a long track record of safety and efficacy and has been the most trusted non-invasive skin tightening treatment internationally,” said Dr. Hoang.

It helps smooth and tighten the skin and the results last for up to two years, depending on skin conditions and age. Overall, it can be used as part of an annual skin rejuvenation maintenance routine.

Morpheus8

Dr. Giselle Prado-Wright is the medical director at Exert BodySculpt in Fort Myers, FL. She says that radiofrequency skin tightening can safely be used in combination with other non-surgical facial treatments.

“As women look for safe, effective ways to rejuvenate their skin, there’s no shortage of options,” she said. “Treatments like radiofrequency skin tightening, microneedling, and laser resurfacing are my go-to for enhancing skin texture, tone, and elasticity. Preventative anti-wrinkle injections, like Botox and Dysport, are still the gold standard for preventing wrinkles before they appear—because why not start early?”

For skin tightening, Dr. Prado-Wright recommends radiofrequency-based treatments, like Renuvion, Morpheus8, and SylfirmX. “These stimulate collagen, both at the surface and deeper layers for lasting, firm results,” she said. “Personally, I love Renuvion for jowls and neck skin—its combination of radiofrequency and plasma energy offers impressive tightening with just three tiny entry points.”

Sculptra

Looking ahead to 2025, combination treatments are here to stay, days Dr. Prado-Wright. “Blending together radiofrequency, microneedling, and injectables can help with personalized results,” she said. Looking ahead, the beauty industry will see more combination treatments for achieving a natural, refreshed look.

“Expect to see a surge in exosome therapy and peptide-based treatments, both of which harness the power of cellular regeneration for younger-looking skin,” said Dr. Prado-Wright. “Non-invasive skin lifting techniques, like ultrasound and radiofrequency-based devices will keep advancing, offering patients more options without the need for traditional surgery.”

Chemical Peels, MRF And LED Light Therapy Masks

Dr. Samuel Lin, a board-certified plastic surgeon and associate professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School says there are some mainstay non-surgical treatments. They include chemical peels and laser therapy. When it comes to combined treatments, he says there’s many options. “Combined micro-focused ultrasound (MFU) and delicate pulsed light (DPL) are a good option for smoothing wrinkles around the mouth and nasolabial folds, with noticeable results in about six months,” said Dr. Lin.

“Monopolar radiofrequency (MRF) is another non-invasive option to tighten and contour facial skin,” he adds. “Injectable platelet-rich fibrin (i-PROF) is a more invasive approach that improves skin tone and texture in just three months. The evidence for topical treatments like stem cell-derived therapies and growth factors is still forthcoming.”

LED light therapy masks are generally trending, due to celebrity endorsements. Dr. Lin says they are marketed as ‘FDA approved,’ but are only FDA cleared, as LED light masks do not pose high enough risk to require FDA approval. “There will continue to be a role for dermal fillers and injectables, and we expect an uptick in nonsurgical rhinoplasty and facial contouring,” he notes.

In Dr. Lin’s research, the combination of MFU and DPL, MRF, and i-PROF have been a winning combination that is supported by research. “MFU and MRF have similar results, but no direct comparison exists between MFU and DPL and MRF, to my knowledge,” he said. “However, nothing will beat a facelift. Facelifts are still the best choice for skin tightening and repositioning of the skin and neck, though it is surgery.”
